- Shelled Pistachios-1 Cup
- Semolina - 1 Cup
- Milk Powder -1 Cup
- Ghee -1 Cup
- Sugar - 3 Cups
- Water - 1 Cup
- Green food colour -2-3 drops
- Powder the pista.If necessary powder semolina also.Mix all ingredients together and let it stand for 4 hours.
- Heat it and keep stirring till the mixture leaves the sides.Add green food colour.Pour it onto a greased plate and cut after its set

i tried to make pista burfi.i did same as you said in your recipe.but i dont know the consistency was like halwa.it leaves the sides too but no good result..
Actually getting the right consistency for pista barfi is a bit difficult.When you roll the mixture between your thumb and forefinger it should form a ball without sticking.Otherwise to be on a safer side you can also keep stirring till it becomes thick then pour it on to the greased plate.Then it will be slightly hard like badam barfi.Guess if you make it 2-3 times you will get it right.

i kept this barfi in refrigerator and after 2 hours when i took it out it was same like barfi.i could make pieces.it was so good.
